Nepal logs 391 new cases, 46 recoveries and zero death on Wednesday

KATHMANDU, July 20: Nepal recorded 391 new cases of COVID-19 along with 46 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Wednesday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

As many as 3,981 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 340 PCR and 51 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 2,276 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. So far, 11,954 people have died of the viral disease across the country.

Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 1,499 cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. Among them, 1,270 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, 50 in Bhaktapur and 179 cases in Lalitpur district.
