SAFF Championship
KATHMANDU, Oct 5: In the second match of the SAFF Championship, Nepal defeated Sri Lanka 3-2 on Monday.
Nepal took the lead through Suman Lama in the 30th minute, while Ayush Ghalan scored the second goal. Similarly, Ghalan scored the third goal in the 85 minute. Both of them scored their first goal for the national team through this game.
In the first match of the football tournament, which started on Friday, Nepal defeated the hosts Maldives 1-0. Now, Nepal has six points from two matches and are on the top of the table with the only team with cent percent results. Nepal will play against India on October 10 and against Bangladesh on October 13.
