Nepal-America International Film Festival-2019 began in Washington DC on Saturday. The three-day film festival is screening a total of 34 films including Nepali and international films.
Under Nepali Panorama, Nepali and international films that have been produced in Nepal are being showcased. Likewise, several other genres of films including feature films, short movies, and documentary are going to display under International Panorama in the festival as per Purna Singh Baraili, director of the festival.

Meanwhile, actor Swastima Khadka starred ‘Bulbul’, directed by Binod Paudel was showcased on the first day of the festival. The festival will conclude after a special screening of Prabin Syangbo’s directorial film ‘Kathaa 72’. Likewise, director Nabin Subba will conduct a discussion session on the topic ‘How the film will change the society’ in the festival.
Nepal America Film Society organized the film festival and the movies will be judged by director Min Bahadur Bham, Rebecca Bustamina and Mimi Machado Luis.
