BRUSSELS, Aug 28: Buses with pictures describing cultural and natural diversities of Nepal has started to ply on the roads in the Belgium Capital City.

Issuing a joint statement, Nepali Embassy in Belgium and Mission of Nepal to European Union said that 20 such buses have started operating.

According to the statement, an agreement was reached with JCDecaux, a Belgian advertising agency, to place the advertising about Nepal from August 16 to 29.

The Embassy had provided four pictures received from Nepal Tourism Board to the agency.

The pictures have messages— Welcome to Nepal, birth place of Lord Buddha, Naturally Nepal: Once is not enough, Mount Everest: Top of the world, Nepal’s unique treasures and Nepal: Always attractive and safe destination for tourists among others.

The Embassy hopes such publicity will help to attract more European tourists to Nepal.
