KATHMANDU, June 30: Subash Nembang, deputy parliamentary party leader of the main opposition party CPN-UML, has put pressure on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to immediately find out the truth about the alleged involvement of unauthorized people in the budget formulation by Finance Minister Janardan Sharma.

Nembang, who is also a former speaker, has pressured Prime Minister Deuba to bring out the fact by watching the CCTV footage of the finance ministry after his party raised the issue in parliament.

Speaking on the occasion of Parliament Day in Kathmandu on Thursday, he said that Prime Minister Deuba should involve a representative from the main opposition party while watching the CCTV footage of the finance ministry. He also claimed that what happened in the finance ministry in the last hours of budget formulation will be clear after the CCTV footage is checked.

Nembang reiterated that the government should not delay in investigating the dispute over who initiated the State Partnership Program (SPP) with the United States.
