KATHMANDU, May 2: The National Examination Board (NEB) has confirmed it will conduct the Grade XII examination from May 4 to May 16 as scheduled earlier.
Raising concern over the unauthorized use of its logo on social media to spread misinformation, the NEB urged the public not to believe such false content. The NEB had initially scheduled the exams from April 24 but postponed the dates due to a strike by the Nepal Teachers’ Federation (NTF).

Following a recent agreement with the NTF, the NEB announced it will now hold the exams at designated centers without further delay. It also clarified that it does not operate any Facebook page and releases all official updates through its website.
In the notice, the NEB called on center chiefs, teachers, staff, security agencies, parents, journalists and all concerned stakeholders to help ensure the exams run smoothly the scheduled dates.
