KATHMANDU, Dec 23: The ongoing standing committee meeting of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has been deferred till Wednesday.
According to the party spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the meeting has been postponed citing the busy schedule of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
“As Prime Minister Oli has confirmed his presence in various programs, he will be unable to attend the ongoing meeting for which the meeting has been deferred till December 26”, informed leader Shrestha.
The ongoing standing committee meeting of the party had concluded a deliberation on the joint political report presented by party chairs KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday. The chairs were scheduled to respond to queries on the report at today's meeting to begin at 4:30 pm at the Party Central Office, Dhumbarahi.
