KATHMANDU, March 6: The Oli-led faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party is holding its parliamentary party meeting on Saturday afternoon.

Bishal Bhattarai, chief whip of the Oli-led faction, said that all the lawmakers of the party have been asked to attend the meeting being held at 2PM today. The meeting is taking place a day before a meeting of the House of Representatives.

The meeting will discuss the party faction's strategy amid the unfolding political developments in the aftermath of the restoration of parliament some two weeks ago.

The meeting is taking place at a time when Dahal-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party is preparing to file a vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the lower house of parliament.

Earlier on Friday, PM Oli reached the residence of Bamdev Gautam, vice chairperson the party.
