KATHMANDU, Dec 31: Nepali Congress Lawmaker Gagan Thapa has asserted that the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) may face a debacle at any time in the days ahead as it is being headed by two chairpersons with two dissimilar views.

Speaking at a program organized on the occasion of National Reconciliation Day on Monday, leader Thapa said, “The two chairmen have two contradictory views about the political system– Pushpa Kamal Dahal does not like democracy while KP Sharma Oli does not like federalism while the core engine of the vehicle they are driving now is republic.”

He went on to say that the Nepali Congress should be alert at a time when the party mandated to lead the federal democratic republic is lost in the middle of nowhere.

Thapa said that the Nepali people are not optimistic about our Prime Minister.

“Today is the very day when Prime Minister Oli had expressed commitment to bring a ship into operation. Months have gone by but the ship is nowhere in sight, questing his ability as the prime minister.”
