KATHMANDU, March 27: NC will decide on whether to form an electoral alliance with coalition partners tomorrow: Spokesperson Mahat

Nepali Congress Spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat has said that the party is in favor of forming an electoral alliance in the upcoming local level elections as per their need. 

Talking to media persons after the meeting of the party’s central committee on Mahat said that an electoral alliance among the coalition would be formed keeping in mind how the party would win more seats in each ward, municipality, and metropolis and make the party even stronger.

He also said that the party would take an official decision only after all the members of the Central Committee express their views. Spokesperson Mahat said that so far most of the speakers are of the view that they should forge an alliance in some places only after reaching an understanding with the coalition.

Spokesperson Mahat also said that the issue of whether to contest in the upcoming local elections by forming an electoral alliance will be decided on Monday.
