KATHMANDU, June 15 : Marking the World Blood Donor's Day, Nepali Congress (NC) Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No 10 Committee on Thursday organized a blood donation camp in coordination with Nobel Blood Transfusion Centre at New Baneshwar. NC senior leader Prakash Man Singh inaugurated the camp as the chief guest in the presence of Panchkhal Municipality Mayor Mahesh Kharel, KMC ward 10 chairperson Ram Kumar KC and National Assembly member of the party Radheshyam Adhikari. According to the organizer, altogether 83 people donated blood at the drive, which was organized to help minimize the growing shortage of blood in the capital. Organizing Committee Member Rikesh Maharjan said NC will hold similar camps and awareness campaign in the future also.
