NC, UML win chief and deputy chief each in separate rural municipalities in Jajarkot

 J AJARKOT, May 16: As per the latest updates of vote counting in the district, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have won the chief and deputy chief each in separate rural municipalities.  NC candidate Harichandra Basnet was elected as chief of Kuse  Rural Municipality while Ramchhaya Shahi (NC) got  elected as deputy chief.

Similarly, UML candidate Narendra Bahadur Shahi was elected as chief of Shivalaya Rural Municipality while Kumari Thapa  (UML) was elected as deputy chief.      

Likewise, NC candidate Sanatkumar Karki has secured highest 2,180 votes followed by CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Dhakbir Rana with 2,149 votes.

UML candidate CP Gharti got 2070 votes.

In Junichande Rural Municipality, CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Krishna Bahadur Khatri has taken lead with 559 votes, NC candidate Sarparaj Rawat 550 votes while UML candidate Dev Bahadur Shahi got 366 votes.

Similarly, in Tribeni Nalgad Municipality, CPN (MC) candidate Tek Bahaur Rawal got 1,349 votes, Chhabi Pant (NC) 976 votes while Nabendra Nepali (UML) is in the third position with 522 votes.

      Similarly, in Bareko  Rural Municipality, Tilak Rawal (MC) is taking lead with 1561 votes, Mahendra Bhadur Shahi  (NC) got  1551 votes while Mim Bahadur Singh (UML) got 506 votes.
