KATHMANDU, Nov 25: The national assembly of the district treasurers of the main opposition Nepali Congress party is to be held in Gajuri of Dhading. 

The meeting of the National Committee of NC district treasurers on Saturday decided to hold the gathering in Gajuri municipality on November 30 and December 1. Committee Chair Govinda Pudasaini said that the gathering is being held at Ghatbensi of Gajuri in order to discuss about the recommendations the assembly is to present before the NC general committee meeting to begin on December 14. 

Congress Tanahu Treasurer Resham Gurung said the assembly would be important to end the rising factionalism in the party. NC Dhading will play the role of coordinator for the assembly. This will be the third assembly of the treasurers. The first was held in Kathmandu and second in Nuwakot. RSS
