KATHMANDU, March 30: Nepali Congress (NC) is going to decide on the by-election of Bara-2 only on April 2.
According to party spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat, a decision on the by-election candidate will be taken on the Central Work Performance Committee and Parliamentary Committee meeting scheduled for April 2.
The decision was taken by the meeting of the Central Performance Committee held on Thursday.
Bye-elections will be held in 3 constituencies of the country on April 23. Out of which, NC has decided candidates in Tanahun-1 and Chitwan-2.
NC has decided to nominate Jeet Narayan Shrestha in Chitwan-2 and Govinda Bhattarai in Tanahun-1.
