KATHMANDU, Feb 12: Nepali Congress has submitted the name list of the House of Representatives members under PR electoral system at the Election Commission (EC). The meeting of a central committee of the party at Baluwatar on Monday had finalized the name of the 40 members.

According to the list, the party has picked 6 members from Dalit, 11from indigenous, 12 from Khas-Aarya, 6 from Madheshi, 3 from Tharu and 2 from Muslim communities. The EC had fixed the deadline for parties until Monday evening to submit the name of the members recommended for HoR under PR electoral system.
