The proposal presented by the Joint General-Secretary and Coordinator of the NC's Economic Policy Proposal Committee, Dr Ram Sharan Mahat, on December 5 has been unanimously approved following deliberations.

Dr Mahat said that the economic policy focused on sustainable and macroeconomic growth based on high productivity.

NC, the major opposition, has adopted a policy that aims to achieve economic growth based on equality and the Party would also consider flexibility in ways and means to achieve this goal.
