KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Mohan Acharya of Nepali Congress has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Rasuwa.
Acharya secured 18,235 votes, more than double of his nearest contender Chhowang Tenzin Tamang of CPN-UML. Tamang secured 8,614 votes.
Similarly, Bikash Ghalan of Mangol National Organization bagged 210 votes and Minnath Devkota of Rastriya Swatantra Party received 165 votes.
