KATHMANDU, May 4: Nepali Congress (NC) is nominating office bearers on Friday.

“A Central Committee meeting of the party scheduled for Friday afternoon will pick remaining officer bearers,” Chief Secretary of the NC Central Party Office, Sanepa Krishna Paudel told Republica Online.

In the meeting, President Sher Bahadur Deuba will nominate office bears today. Deuba is picking officer bearers at a time when the party is sharply divided over power sharing.

The party has yet to appoint Vice President, a General Secretary and Deputy General Secretary.
