NC nominates Chief Whip and Whip

KATHMANDU, July 20: Nepali Congress (NC) has nominated the party’s Chief Whip and Whip. Chitralekha Yadav has been nominated as the party’s Chief Whip and Min Bishwakarma the Whip.

They were nominated by the leader of the parliamentary party, Sher Bahadur Deuba. The post of Chief Whip was vacant after Balkrishna Khan, who was previously the chief whip, was appointed as the home minister. Chitralekha Yadav is the NC’s treasurer while Bishwakarma is a central member.
