KAHMANDU, Aug 4: Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center) have reached a deal on the sharing of ministerial berths.

According to a source, the NC will head 13 ministries while Maoist Center will lead eight ministers. The ministries allocated for the Maoist Center are Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Local Development, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Law, Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare, Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Education, it is learnt.    

The major coalition partner Nepali Congress will head 13 ministries including Home, Physical Infrastructure, Urban Development and Tourism.

The remaining six ministries including Labor and Poverty Alleviation have been allocated for other small coalition partners.
