NC leader Prakashman Singh hospitalized

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Prakashman Singh has been hospitalized. He had visited the Bhaisepati-based Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur on Monday after he complained of continuous fever and urinary problems.

The 64-year-old leader was hospitalized on the recommendation of doctors, according to his aide UP Lamichhane. Earlier, he had been taking a rest at home for five days as he fell sick. He was diagnosed with a high blood sugar level, fever, and urine infection. He is under the medication and his health condition is gradually improving, his aide said.
