NC leader Poudel accuses Oli of forging alliance with corrupts

KATHMANDU, April 30: Senior leader of Nepali Congress (NC) Ram Chandra Poudel has accused CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli of forming an alliance with corrupts.

KATHMANDU, April 30: Senior leader of Nepali Congress (NC) Ram Chandra Poudel has accused CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli of forming an alliance with corrupts. 


Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Saturday, Poudel said that KP Oli is forming an alliance with the conservatives and royalist forces that are openly challenging the democratic gains Nepal made through historic people’s movements.

Senior leader Poudel also accused the UML cadres of taking the budget from the center and becoming consumers and contractors in the name of development. He said that the UML has neglected development plans. 


Senior leader Poudel said that the UML had repeatedly attacked the parliament and the rights of sovereign people.


While stating that NC had formed an alliance with the forces that are fighting for the cause of change, constitution and democracy in Nepal to defeat the tendency of Oli to undermine these values, Poudel also said that the current politics and development strategy of the coalition is moving forward in the right direction.
