KATHMANDU, Feb 20: Shashank Koirala, former General Secretary of the Nepali Congress (NC), has thrown his support behind the reinstatement of a Vedic Hindu nation, as he signed the campaign in favor of it.
The Vedic Hindu nation establishment campaign, led by Central Working Committee (CWC) member Shankar Bhandari, launched a signature campaign at the venue of the Mahasamiti meeting in Godavari, Lalitpur. On Tuesday, former General Secretary of the party, Koirala, also signed in favor of the campaign.

With this, the number of NC central members who have signed in favor of the campaign has reached 31. The leaders of the campaign said that more than 400 convention delegates have signed up to support the cause so far.
