KATHMANDU, March 20: Bal Krishna Khand has been elected as chief whip of the Nepali Congress (NC) on Tuesday. NC President and Parliamentary Party Leader Sher Bahadur Deuba appointed him to the post.
Writing a twitter message, Deuba said that Khand has been elected as chief whip of the party under the proportional representation. “I have appointed lawmaker Bal Krishna Khand to the post of chief whip of the NC.” “I would like to congratulate and wish him a successful tenure as chief whip,” Deuba twitted.
