KATHMANDU, Dec 10: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Harsh Vardan has praised the Nepali Congress (NC)’s General Convention, calling it exemplary.

Giving a congratulatory message to NC, he said, "This is the first time I have seen former prime ministers sitting together on the same platform. This does not happen in India." He also thanked the party’s president Sher Bahadur Deuba on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President JP Nadda.

Similarly, he also said that he had never seen such a general convention in his political life. He said that it was exemplary for the office-bearers of other parties to be on the same platform at the party's general convention.

Expressing his best wishes, Leader Haribardan also discussed the cordial, social, economic and religious ties between Nepal and India.
