KATHMANDU, May 12: The meeting of office bearers of Nepali Congress has concluded that anyone found guilty of a fake Bhutanese refugee scam must be booked, while the innocent ones must not be implicated in the case.
In the meeting held at President Sher Bahadur Deuba's residence, Dhumbarahi, on Thursday, the office bearers of the party discussed issues ranging from fake Bhutanese refugee scam to party central committee, preparation of policy convention, and sister organization.

"Issues of suspending leader Bal Krishna Khand were raised in the meeting, but no decision was made to this end," said Joint General Secretary Jivan Pariyar, adding, "As investigation is continuous, reaching a conclusion is inappropriate."
Pariyar further informed the meeting that the government was not serious as per alliance spirit. Also discussed during the meeting was the citizenship bill which is currently at the President's Office.
