ILAM, May 29: Nepali Congress (NC) finalized the names for the mayoral and deputy mayoral candidacies for municipalities in the district.

According to a district leader, Himalayan Karmacharya has been picked for the mayoral candidate and Chanda Karki for the deputy mayoral candidate for Ilam Municipality.

Similarly, Durga Baral and Bandana Adhikari for the mayoral and deputy mayoral posts of Suryodaya Municipality, Bishnu Karki and Chandra Maya Limbu for Mai Municipality while Hom Dulal and Surya Maya Rai for Deumai Municipality.
