KATHMANDU, Feb 27: The main opposition Nepali Congress has expressed deep sorrow over the chopper crash at Taplejung that claimed seven lives including Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari among others.
In a press statement, issued by the party president Sher Bahadur Deuba on Wednesday afternoon, the party has stated that the death of young leader Adhikari is a great loss for country’s politics. The party has expressed condolences to the bereaved family, Nepal Communist Party and the Government of Nepal.
Likewise, the party has extended its condolence to the family of the other deceased passengers in the accident. The party has also urged the concerned authorities to probe the incident.
