KATHMANDU, April 20: Nepali Congress Central Working Committee has been postponed until April 22, today.
The meeting was postponed after most of the central committee members are out of Kathmandu Valley, said Chief Secretary of NC Party Office, Krishna Prasad Poudel.
The next meeting has been called for April 22. The meeting, began from March 23, was cancelled on March 30 after the death of central committee member Khum Bahadur Khadka.
According to the Party Office, the meeting was postponed after the CC members, who are out of valley, could not return back to Kathmandu today due to disruption of Tribhuvan International Airport.
The TIA was closed for some hours after Malindo Air aircraft bound to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu on Thursday night, skidded off the runway during takeoff and got stuck on ground close to the runway, impeding flights.
