NC CWC endorses election directives

KATHMANDU, June 10: Nepali Congress Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting on Thursday endorsed election directives meant for the party´s 12th General Convention scheduled for August 10-14.



According to General Secretary Bimalendra Nidhi, the meeting endorsed the directives asking the Election Committee to incorporate suggestions from CWC members.



Thursday´s CWC meeting decided to ensure representation of marginalized and backward communities in the party´s structures, defining the groups on the basis of economic and social status and political participation.



The NC has called the next CWC meeting for Sunday to form various sub-committees to hold the upcoming general convention successfully.
