NC convention passes all three reports

KATHMANDU, March 5: The Nepali Congress (NC) ongoing national convention has passed all three reports with some revision from the closed session. In the closed session begun yesterday, the policy and program document was presented by Acting President Ram Chandra Poudel, the general organization report by general secretaries Prakash Man Singh and Krishna Prasad Sitaula and the financial report by treasurer Chitra Lekha Yadav.A total of 42 persons including district presidents, public relations representatives from abroad, and convention representatives had suggested on the reports. During session, general secretary Sitaula responded the queries made by the convention representatives on the organizational report while leader Mahesh Acharya on policy and program. The closed session amended the provision relating to the election of central members from the zones. With the amendment, every province will choose two central members for the party. RSS
