KATHMANDU, Nov 2: The main opposition party, Nepali Congress, has called the party’s office bearers meeting on Monday.
The meeting scheduled to be held at the party’s Central Office, Sanepa at 1 pm will mainly dwell on holding discussions about the preparation of the upcoming 14 General Convention of the party and other concurrent political issues in the country.
The meeting will be attended by party’s office bearers, former office bearers and a few members of the party’s Central Working Committees (CWC), according to chief secretary of NC, Krishna Prasad Poudel.
The party has also called the CWC meeting to discuss the preparation of its 14th General Convention on Friday.
Earlier, the party had announced to organize the party's 14th General Convention from March 19 to March 22, 2021. However, the COVID-19 pandemic is likely to affect the calendar of events of the party’s general convention.
