NC and UML win election in Bethan Chowk and Khani Khola Rural Municipalities respectively

KAVRE, May 17: Nepali Congress(NC) and CPN-UML have won the election in Bethan Chowk and Khani Khola Rural Municipalities in Kavre respectively.

NC candidate for chief of Bethan Rural Municipality Prem Bahadur Timilsena has defeated his closest rival with 3868 votes, compared to 2741 votes garnered by his closest rival UML candidate Prem Lama who obtained votes.

NC has also won the race for deputy chief of Bethan Rural Municipality.

Likewise, UML candidate for chief of Khani Khola Rural Municipality Krishna Bahadur Khulal has won the election with 2023 votes  defeating his closest rival Maoist Center candidate  Indra Bdr t who  garnered  1700 votes.

In addition, UML has succeeded in winning the race for deputy chief of Khani Khola Rural Municipality.
