KATHMANDU, Sept 1: The Nepal Bar Association (NBA) surrounded the Judicial Council today. The NBA organized a protest program before the meeting called at 1 PM, demanding the annulment of the first amendment to the Judicial Council Regulations.

NBA President Gopal Krishna Ghimire stated that the protest was held because the Judicial Council's meeting was called contrary to the NBA's demand for the annulment of the first amendment.
