KATHMANDU, Sept 8: A delegation comprising representatives of 16 constituent bodies under the Naya Shakti Nepal today called on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and submitted a memorandum, seeking immediate rehabilitation of the earthquake survivors and checking inflation.
The memo also demanded that the victims of recent floods that occurred in different parts of the country be provided with immediate relief assistance and the government pay serious attention towards guaranteeing citizens' fundamental rights envisaged in the constitution.
The delegation included representatives from Dalit Shakti Nepal, Socialist Trade Union Federation, National Industry Commerce Federation, Naya Shakti Students Union, Press Society Nepal and National Former Security Personnel Association Nepal including others.
Prime Minister's political advisor Chandra Prakash Khanal confirmed the submission of memo to the PM by the representatives of Naya Shakti Nepal constituent bodies. RSS
