Nawalparasi records one more COVID-19 death

BUTWAL, Sept 11: A person from Nawalparasi district died of the coronavirus infection while undergoing treatment at the Butwal-based COVID-19 hospital on Friday.

According to the hospital’s Information Officer Dr Bishnu Gautam, the 55-year-old male patient hailing from Susta Rural Municipality-5 breathed his last at 11 AM.

The man was admitted to the hospital on September 4 and was receiving treatment at the ICU.

According to Dr Gautam, the man had been suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure and liver problems for long.

With this, the number of fatalities due to COVID-19 in the district has climbed to four.
