KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) has organized various programs as part of the 39th World Tourism Day that is observed on September 27 every year across the globe. A clean-up campaign has been launched at religious and tourist place Swyambhu under the campaign. People from various walks of life like secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Krishna Prasad Devkota participated in the drive.
Likewise, a futsal tournament will be held today at Dhanantari Tutsal Club at Bhatkepul. A team of 14 men and three women will participate in the match, said NATTA's co-treasurer Surendra Bhattarai, talking to Rastriya Samachar Samiti. A blood donation program is scheduled to take place on Sunday at NATTA's central office at Naksal. "Such programmes will help realize government's goal to bring in 200000 tourists by 2020," said NATTA's President CN Pandey. RSS
