KATHMANDU, May 27: Nepal Association of Tours and Travel Agents (NATTA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Tourism Chamber for mutual friendship, understanding and cooperation.
The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the 14th conference of Nepal-China Non-Governmental Cooperation Forum in Kathmandu.
A statement issued by NATTA said that its President Madhu Sudhan Acharya and Hao Xukuan, vice-president of China Tourism Chamber, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Xie Jingrong, vice-president of All China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and Bhawani Rana, president of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).
Speaking at the event, officials of both NATTA and China Tourism Chamber said that there was a huge opportunity for Nepal and China to work together in trade and tourism, among other sectors.
NATTA, in collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Nepalese Embassy at Beijing, is organizing China Sales Mission in different Chinese cities from June 7 to 17.
China Tourism Chamber has said that it will contribute to make China Sales Mission being held in Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Beijing a grand success, the statement added.
