CHITWAN, Jan 14: The under-construction Narayanghat-Mugling road section will remain open for 24 hours for the next four days from Saturday.

The district traffic office issued a notice on Saturday with a view to ease travelers' movement during the festival of Maghe Sankranti.

"The road section will remain open round the clock for four days, from January 13 to 16," the statement reads. The vehicular movement has been halted between 10 pm to 4 am in the road section from January 2 for repair and maintenance works along the road section.

During the festival of Maghe Sankranti, thousands of pilgrims throng the famous Devghat from various parts of the country and from India as well. Devotees gather at the confluence of Trisuli and Kali Gandaki rivers to take holy bath during the festival.
