KATHMANDU, July 3: Namaste Eid 2023, a multicultural event that aimed to bring people from various communities of Nepal together to celebrate Eid and conclude the fasting month of Ramadan concluded at Hotel Annapurna, Kathmandu on Saturday.
The event organized by Open Space Network showcased various stalls consisting of halal outlets, henna artists to perfume and apparel stalls, while the ambience was filled with Fashion Show, Kids zone, Games, Sufi and Qawali and Dance performances.
Namaste Eid fest concludes with a great success
The main attraction of the show was a fashion show where Siwangi Pradhan and actress Barsha Raut and entrepreneur Sanjog Koirala walked along the models on the ramp. The event also had exclusive musical performances by Kiran Nepali, the founder of Project Sarangi, Bishwa Nepali, Sujal Sharma and Afsar Ali and dance performances by Nepal Dance Academy team.
According to Faija Parween, event founder and director, “Namaste Eid is an open multicultural event for everyone aiming to promote interfaith, understanding, friendship and multiculturalism for the people of all backgrounds to participate. It is a platform to strengthen and unite local communities by reviving, celebrating and sharing the essence of Eid.”
US Embassy, The British College, Flydubai, Khalti, Premier Consultants, Khalti, QFX, Siwangi Pradhan, Everything Creative, Ksuskalology, Shalimar Jewellers, Kayo, Norvic, Mughal Empire,Faiza, Trinkets by , Fiza, Relax Nepal, Amara, Nepali Patro, Bennevis, 360 Nepa, Dulla, Shabana Fitness and Nepal Dance Academy came together for the event, said the organizers.
