KATHMANDU, Oct 4: The Nepal-Australia Joint Consultation Committee (NAJCC) has agreed to collaborate with Nepal in river basin, ecosystem and water management.

The bilateral meeting of the Committee held recently here took a decision to this effect, said Kathmandu-based Australian Embassy. The partnership with Australia in water management would benefit Nepal, said Madhav Belbase, joint secretary at the Water and Energy Commission Secretariat.
Likewise, Australia's ambassador to Nepal Peter Budd said his country was ready to expand partnership with Nepal in new areas. RSS
