KATHMANDU, August 21: Nepal Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and Global Exposition and Management Services Pvt Ltd are jointly organizing NADA Auto Show 2017 in Kathmandu from August 29 to September 3.

The show will be held at the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu, the organizers said in a press meet organized in Kathmandu on Sunday. 

SERVO Lubricants is the title sponsor of the show.

According to the organizers, the expo will have 130 small and big blocks where as many 90 companies will showcase their products and services. The expo is expected to attract more than 50,000 footfalls from all over the country. Sixteen brands of 4-wheelers, 19 brands of 2-wheelers and 6 brands of heavy commercials vehicles are participating in the expo, the organizers said in a statement distributed at the event.

“NADA Auto Show is a comprehensive automobile event that will attract auto enthusiasts with chock-full of renowned auto brands, financial institutions, lubricants, spare parts, batteries, tires, vehicle security technology, garage equipment and other auto components displayed under one roof,” the organizers added in the statement.

Speaking on the occasion, Anjan Shrestha, president of NADA, said that the organizers will contribute Rs 500,000 from the income of NADA Auto Show 2017 to support flood and landslide victims. 

The association has already donated Rs 500,000 to the government for providing relief to flood and landslide survivors.

The association is hopeful that the exhibition will provide an appropriate forum for the automobile sector to showcase vehicles, accessories and other services among prospective customers. The show is expected to bring automobile importers, dealers, distributors, manufacturers and buyers under one roof for exchange of information, and analysis of automobile business and its component areas.
