TULSIPUR (DANG), Sept 9: The state-owned Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is going to operate flights to Tarigaon Airport in Tulsipur once a week only.

Flights between Tarigaon and the federal capital, Kathmandu, will take place only on Fridays, said the NAC chief in Dang, Bal Bahadur Sunar. This is due to the lack of aircraft with the NAC, as one of the aircraft has been grounded.

There have been frequent calls to make air services to the airport regular. The airport was established in 2011 BS with a 750 meters runway, accommodating only 19-seater aircraft.
