NA transfers prisoners from Dillibazar Jail

KATHMANDU, Sept 6: The Nepali Army has transferred prisoners from Dilli Bazaar Jail and taken them under control.



Prisoners have been escaping from prisons in various parts of the country since Tuesday, following violent protests by Gen Zs. A total of 3,300 prisoners have already escaped from the Central Jail and around 1,500 inmates fled from Nakkhu Prison in Lalitpur.

Prisoners are also reported to have started escaping from prisons in Kailali, Kaski, Kavre, Sindhuli, Rasuwa, Rupandehi and a number of other districts.
