NA defuses six socket bombs

GAIGHAT (Udayapur), May 3: Six socket bombs found near the residence of a farmer at Sirbani village of Udayapur Ghadi Village Council – 2 were defused on Tuesday. 

Nepal Army's Bhawani Battalion Company defused the bombs. The locals informed the police after coming across objects resembling bombs. 

A bomb disposal team led by Captain Bharat Giri of Bhawani Battalion Company Taraghari Katari went to the incident site and defused the bombs, Bhawani Battalion Company Udayapur Bokse's Lieutenant Colonel, Suman Khadka said. 

NA has stated that the bombs could have been hidden by someone during the Maoist insurgency and investigation into the case has been launched. RSS
