KATHMADU, July 13: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa met with North Korea’s ambassador to Nepal, Kim Yong Hak at the Ministry of Home Affairs. In the meeting, the two dwelled to strengthen mutual collaboration and cooperation to enrich relationship.
Thapa praised political development between North and South Korea and expressed hopes of suitable results with the nuclear disarmament.
Thapa added that North Korea was a source of inspiration for patriotism. He also appreciated a new technology that North Korea had developed for garment industry and hoped to bring a similar one in Nepal.
The North Korean envoy also praised relationship with Nepal and hoped to strengthen it further. He added that at present, work permits for North Koreans were a hassle in Nepal. In turn, Thapa said that he’d take necessary measures to ease the process. Hak also invited Thapa for his presence on the occasion of North Korean Day.
