KATHMANDU, Jan 13: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli made a pointed remark about Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, stating that his stomach ‘isn’t big enough to digest Shera Durbar.’
While congratulating the newly elected office bearers of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) in Baluwatar, Oli said, "I don’t have the habit of scheming or working in secret. My stomach isn’t big enough like those who digested Shera Durbar, and frankly, I have no interest in it."

The remark appeared to be a subtle jab at Dahal’s controversial history of political maneuvering and behind-the-scenes dealings.
Oli also said that he is not a typical office worker. "I work around the clock, day and night. I do all my work openly, not in secret," he said.
During the event, Oli urged journalists to focus on providing truthful information, describing their role as watchmen. "Providing news based on facts is the true duty of journalism," he said.
PM Oli also revealed that the government plans to introduce legislation to regulate social media in the near future.
