Suffering from lung cancer for long, Khadgi died while undergoing treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, said the family source. He is survived by a son and two daughters.
Khadgi had composed music for around 700 old and new songs.
Over one dozen of songs like 'Eklai basda sadhai malai samjhana timro aidinchha', 'Kholako dui kinar vo timro ra mero pirati', 'Karmako rekha nametido raicha', among others are the famous songs composed by Khadgi.
Last rites of Khadgi would be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today itself, it is learnt. RSS
