KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Audiences will be able to enjoy World Cup football on the big screen of movie halls from today. The multiplexes in the Kathmandu Valley have agreed to show football matches in coordination with Media Hub.
One Cinemas Multiplex is showing a football match between Brazil and Croatia in the Iplex Mall in New Baneshwor and the cinema hall in Kalimati at 8:30PM. The hall opened advance booking on Wednesday evening and announced that it will show live football on Friday.
Similarly, Big Movies at Kamalpokhari will show the semi-final and final match. INI Cinemas will show football from the halls of Lhotse Mall in Gongabu and Cineplex will show the match in Pokhara and Chitwan.QFX Multiplex is also preparing to show the final match in the hall.
