The movie Logan is out in theatres in Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, March 3: Logan starts with the awakening of the main character in utter distress. The young, energetic wolverine is no more so young. His wounds don’t heal and he has no intention of continuing to exist. As the movie develops, the links between the characters unravel, heaving the thick cloud of mystery. It’s 2029 and the mutants are nearly extinct. The old wolverine lives in a hideout around Mexican border along with his companion Caliban and Professor X, whose mighty brain is tormented by worsening seizures.

Logan’s all attempts to be invisible go in vain when a strange lady appears with a request to help her and her daughter reaches  safe haven named Eden. Spoilers alert: with the death of the strange lady, Logan and his companions are compelled to protect this little girl, Laura. The movie startles everyone when it is revealed that the Laura is a mutant and has similar traits like Wolverine. In an attempt to protect Laura from the hands of evil, Logan gets into violent fights leading the viewers into gory scenes.

The movie is full of intense emotions of Laura and Logan.

The young Laura must instill hope in Logan’s tortured soul and at the same time struggle to survive in the world full of monsters. She must fight to find herself beyond what she was created to be.

Raw scenes in the movie might seem a bit too much but it’s quintessential to portray the real action of a real life war. Internal conflicts of both the character take audience on a whirlwind journey of consuming sensations and brutal bloodshed. The movie also has a mellow  side . Logan is a perfect blend of sentiments and action filled thrill. It elevates stereotypical approach  of a superhero movie and leans more into unembellished life of a superhero’s journey , which we all can relate to.
